1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and TeeTime for use of our website, app, and booking services. By creating an account, placing a booking, or using TeeTime, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you use TeeTime on behalf of a club, company, or other organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
2. The TeeTime service
TeeTime lets you browse and book golf-related services, including tee times, club events, trainers, caddies, equipment rentals, and memberships. Some listings and fulfilment are provided by independent golf clubs, trainers, and other partners. TeeTime is a booking platform; we are not the golf club and do not operate every course or lesson you book.
3. Accounts
- You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your password confidential.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- We may suspend or close an account that is inaccurate, abusive, or used in breach of these Terms.
4. Bookings
A booking is a request to reserve a service at the date, time, and price shown. Availability can change. For events and some trainer slots, a reservation may be held only until payment is completed; unpaid holds can be released automatically.
You are responsible for ensuring that participant names and phone numbers you submit are correct, and that every player is eligible to play at the venue (including club guest rules, dress codes, and handicap requirements).
5. Payments
Prices are displayed in Kenyan Shillings unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Paystack or another processor we nominate. By paying, you authorise the charge for the booking or membership you selected, including applicable fees.
A booking is confirmed only when payment is successfully received (or when we expressly confirm another payment arrangement). Failed, reversed, or disputed payments may result in cancellation of the booking.
6. Cancellations and refunds
Unless a listing says otherwise, you may cancel an eligible booking at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time through your TeeTime account. Cancellations inside that window, no-shows, and late arrivals may not be refunded.
Event, trainer, and partner listings may have additional rules set by the club or provider. Where those rules are stricter, they apply. Refunds, if any, are returned through the original payment method and may take several business days.
TeeTime or a partner may cancel a booking because of weather, course closure, safety, unpaid holds, or operational issues. If we cancel for reasons outside your control, we will offer a refund or a reasonable alternative where possible.
7. Memberships
Memberships are subject to the plan details shown at purchase and to the rules of the relevant club or service. Cancelling a membership stops future billing according to the plan; it does not automatically refund unused time unless we say so at purchase.
8. Trainers and other providers
Independent trainers and service providers are responsible for the quality, safety, and delivery of their own services. TeeTime does not guarantee a particular outcome from coaching or play. Disputes about a lesson or on-course service should first be raised with the provider; we can help coordinate where we have booking records.
If you register as a trainer, you confirm that the information you publish is accurate, that you are authorised to offer the services you list, and that you will honour bookings made through TeeTime at the stated rates and times.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use TeeTime for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity
- Interfere with bookings, payments, or other users’ accounts
- Scrape, overload, or attempt to reverse engineer the platform
- Post misleading trainer, event, or service information
- Hold tee times you do not intend to complete payment for
10. Intellectual property
TeeTime’s name, branding, layout, and software are owned by us or our licensors. You may not copy or reuse them without permission. Course names, logos, and photos may belong to the respective clubs. You retain rights to content you submit (such as a trainer bio) and grant TeeTime a licence to display it on the platform.
11. Disclaimers
TeeTime is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Golf is a physical activity with inherent risk. We do not warrant that a course, event, or trainer will meet your expectations, that the site will be uninterrupted, or that listings are error-free. Always follow club safety rules and local conditions.
12. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Kenyan law, TeeTime is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for loss of enjoyment, profit, or data. Our total liability arising from a booking will not exceed the amount you paid to TeeTime for that booking. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence where such exclusion is not allowed.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify TeeTime against claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your misuse of the platform, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of a club’s or provider’s rules while using a booking made through TeeTime.
14. Termination
You may stop using TeeTime and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Surviving clauses include payments owed, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. If a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice (for example by email or a notice in the app). Continued use after the change takes effect means you accept the new Terms.
16. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Courts in Kenya have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
